Hiring a professional, listing your business, plans and billing, and how the CRM behaves.
ServiceConnect is two things in one platform. For customers it is a marketplace for finding verified local service professionals in Zimbabwe — plumbers, electricians, cleaners, contractors and more. For those professionals it is the ServiceConnect workspace, a CRM that takes an enquiry through quoting, invoicing and payment without losing the customer history along the way.
No. You can browse categories, view supplier profiles and see published reviews without signing in. You only need to give contact details when you send a quote request, so the supplier can reply to you.
No. Browsing suppliers, sending quote requests and leaving a review are free for customers. ServiceConnect charges the service suppliers for their workspace, not the people hiring them.
Zimbabwe. Prices are held in USD and checkout also supports ZWG. Suppliers list the cities and areas they cover on their profile, so search results reflect who actually works near you.
Yes, there is a ServiceConnect mobile client alongside the website. Both talk to the same API, so an enquiry, quotation or payment recorded in one appears in the other.
Open the supplier profile, choose the service you need from their listed catalogue and send a quote request with your contact details and a description of the job. The request goes straight to that supplier, who replies with a quotation. A quote request can only name a supplier who is currently listed and a service that is currently on their catalogue.
A verified supplier has submitted evidence of their identity and business credentials, and a ServiceConnect moderator has approved every badge that their category requires. Suppliers cannot appear in public listings until all required badges are approved. The evidence itself stays private — only the approved outcome is shown.
Only the one you sent the request to. ServiceConnect does not broadcast your enquiry to a list of suppliers, and your contact details are not sold on or shared with anyone you did not contact.
You arrange payment with the supplier directly, on the terms in their quotation. ServiceConnect does not sit between you and the supplier for job payments and does not take a commission on the work. Card and mobile-money payments handled inside the platform are for supplier subscriptions.
Give it a working day or so, then send a request to another supplier in the same category — there is no limit on how many you may contact. If a listed supplier is repeatedly unreachable, tell us at support@serviceconnect.co.zw so we can look at their listing.
Use the review link tied to your own quote request. ServiceConnect only accepts a review through that link, and only once the work attached to it has reached a point where it can be reviewed. That is what stops anonymous or competitor reviews appearing on a profile.
New reviews are pending by default and stay out of public ratings and comments until a ServiceConnect moderator publishes them. This is a moderation step, not a delay in your account. If a review is rejected, the moderator must record a reason.
One quote request produces at most one review. If you hire the same supplier again through a new quote request, you can review that job too. Ratings are whole numbers from 1 to 5.
No. A reviewer email address is never part of what is shown publicly, and it is not shown to moderators in the moderation queue either.
No. Suppliers cannot publish, edit or remove reviews on their own profile. Only a platform moderator can publish or reject one, and every decision keeps the moderator and the time in the audit trail.
Create an account, set up your workspace, add the services you offer to your marketplace catalogue and submit your verification evidence. Once every required badge is approved, your profile becomes publicly listed and can receive quote requests.
The usual reason is that verification is incomplete. Every badge your category requires must be approved before the profile is publicly listed. Check the verification section of your workspace to see which items are still outstanding or were rejected.
It depends on your plan: Free covers 3 marketplace services, Starter 10, Business 30, and Professional is unlimited.
No. ServiceConnect charges a flat monthly or annual subscription for your workspace. What you charge the customer, and what you collect, is yours.
Free is USD 0. Starter is USD 5 a month, Business USD 10 a month, and Professional USD 20 a month. Paying annually costs ten months instead of twelve, so two months are free.
Free: 1 staff member, 5 invoices, 1 recurring invoice, 3 marketplace services. Starter: 1 staff member, 30 invoices, 5 recurring, 10 services. Business: 3 staff, 150 invoices, 50 recurring, 30 services. Professional: 10 staff with unlimited invoices, recurring invoices and marketplace services.
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no card required. It is capped rather than crippled — you get the real CRM, at smaller volumes — so you can run a few real jobs through it before deciding.
Subscriptions are paid through PesePay, which accepts Visa, Mastercard and EcoCash. Prices are held in USD and checkout can also be completed in ZWG.
Yes, from the subscription page in your workspace. You can move up a plan when you need the higher limits and cancel when you no longer do.
Every payment is verified against the provider on our side rather than trusted from the browser, so a confirmation can land a short time after the payment screen closes. ServiceConnect also reconciles outstanding transactions on a schedule. If it has not updated after a few minutes, send us the reference at support@serviceconnect.co.zw and we will check the transaction directly.
A lead is an enquiry that has not been qualified yet. An opportunity is a sale you have decided is real. Opening, reading, calling or noting a lead never creates an opportunity on its own — you qualify it explicitly, and that action is recorded. It keeps your pipeline figures honest instead of inflated by every enquiry that ever arrived.
Moving an opportunity to a closed stage that is not Won requires a loss reason. Without it the pipeline reports cannot tell you why deals are being lost, which is usually the most useful thing they could tell you.
Amounts in different currencies are never summed into one figure without an explicit exchange rate. A single blended total would look tidy and be wrong, so pipeline and revenue figures are reported per currency.
Accepting a message means it has been queued with the email or WhatsApp provider, not that it has been delivered. The status moves through queued, sent, delivered, read or failed as the provider reports back, and the interface shows the real state rather than assuming success.
Customer profiles are reusable and the system will surface likely duplicates by matching email and phone, but it will not merge or create them silently — you decide whether to reuse an existing customer or create a new one.
Access is controlled by roles and permissions, enforced at the API, in queries, on files and on exports. One workspace can never read another workspace's records, files or exports, and that isolation is covered by automated tests.
It drafts and advises. It can summarise a customer history, suggest a next action, draft a reply or prepare a quotation from your catalogue. Your records, report definitions, billing totals and audited history remain the authority — AI output is a suggestion on top of them.
No. AI cannot send a message, move a pipeline stage or change a record directly. It can only propose an action, which is shown to you as a preview. A person has to confirm it, and the system rechecks your workspace, permissions and the current records before anything happens.
Customer personal information is excluded from provider context by default, and free text is redacted before it is used. Raw prompts, raw model responses and provider credentials are not kept in the AI log.
Ordinary CRM work carries on unaffected. A provider failure produces a contained error on the advisory feature only — it cannot stop you quoting, invoicing or recording a payment.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page and we will email you a reset link. Resetting a password revokes every existing session and token, so anyone signed in as you elsewhere is signed out.
Each workspace is isolated at the database and API level. Provider credentials are encrypted, uploads are validated, incoming webhooks must carry a valid signature, and sensitive admin and workspace actions are written to an audit trail. Payment and OAuth credentials never enter that log.
Yes, subject to your plan's staff limit: 1 on Free and Starter, 3 on Business and 10 on Professional. Each person gets a role that decides what they can see and do.
There is a delete-account option in your profile settings. Email support@serviceconnect.co.zw if you would like your data exported before it is removed.
Email support@serviceconnect.co.zw, use the contact page, or call +263 787 194 541 or +263 772 548 480. Include your workspace name and, for a payment question, the transaction reference — it gets you a useful answer faster.
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead, plus the page you were on and roughly when. A screenshot helps. If it involves a payment, include the reference.
Still stuck?
Email support@serviceconnect.co.zw with your workspace name, and a transaction reference if it is about a payment. It gets you a useful answer faster.
